Spitfire System Reduces Silverman CPM's Cost for Litigation SupportARMONK, New York—(December 14, 2010) Silverman Construction Program Management recently increased its return on investment in Spitfire Project Management System—construction project management software with full file management capabilities—when ordered to provide documents on behalf of a client involved in third party litigation. Although Silverman CPM, as the project manager, was not named in any lawsuit, the company was required to produce documents for review by several attorneys. Because the project involved was begun before Silverman CPM had begun using Spitfire Project Management System, some of the necessary documents were in hard copy only. For all the other documents since the implementation of Spitfire, Silverman CPM was able to use Spitfire's file catalog export function to produce complete, comprehensive electronic files of all e-mails, PDFs, and Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Project files in their native formats. "The Spitfire documents and files were easily reviewed by our attorneys in about one tenth of the time that they would have taken if all documents had been in hard copy, based on the review time of the other hard copy files. The electronic files resulted in a substantial savings to us in money and time.
